Performance Finance Ltd provides asset finance and loans to the professions such as Opticians, Solicitors, Dentists and Veterinarians. It has been established for 15 years and has an exceptional platform and enviable client base.
The financials:
Performance Finance (PF) is both a broker and lender and in 2019 provided £73m of funding of which £19m was via its own book lending.
It is the own book lending that PF wish to increase.
Current receivables are sitting at £24m and bad debt since inception has run at well below 1%. Due to improvements in underwriting and risk profiling we currently have only 4 arrears cases from over 1,400 live transactions.
PF is therefore seeking professional entrepreneurs who may like to invest between £5m - £20m for a 5%p.a. return over 3 to 5 years.
Recession-resistant market:
Our market place is generally recession-resistant and as we move from a dynamic C-19 environment to a more traditional recession environment we expect to witness the resilience our sector provides (which has been the case for many previous recessions).
Whilst C-19 has had obvious negative effects on many commercial sectors, we feel we are well placed to increase our own book activity and take advantage of the numerous opportunities that will afford themselves.
Even if we halve the amount of lending we secure we can still double our own book activity.
