Dentaid The Dental Charity works tirelessly to improve access to safe, sustainable care for people who are suffering due to a lack of dental treatment.
In the UK, the charity has 11 mobile dental units that visit night shelters, day centres and soup kitchens, providing free outreach dental care for people from underserved communities.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will directly support Dentaid's outreach programs, enabling them to deliver vital dental care, oral health education, and equipment to underserved communities both in the UK and overseas.
Vision Care for Homeless People is a charity set-up to provide eyecare services to people affected by homelessness and other vulnerable people in an accessible and friendly environment in which they feel safe, welcome and comfortable.
They run professional eye care clinics within homeless centres in England and Scotland. The fully equipped eye testing rooms are staffed by volunteer optometrists, dispensing opticians and assistants. Clinics provide NHS Opticians Services. As many groups experience difficulty accessing free eye care, they provide a sight test and glasses to everyone who is affected by homelessness or without means.
