Our team at HQ raises funds every year by dressing down on a Friday and making weekly donations, at the end of each year, we select local charities and make the donations. 

 

This year, Glamis Hall for All was chosen by one of our colleagues, Emma Carter who learned about the charity through some close friends and family members who have previously utilised key services offered by the centre.  

 

Our donation has enabled Glamis to increase their offering for an Easter raffle, as well as sponsor some additional activities for the clients to enjoy, including bowls and movement to music. 

 

Emma, Stefanie & Molly from HQ recently visited the centre and met with centre manager, Jo, along with her colleague Ali and the team. It is very clear to see the high level of enthusiasm and passion from the staff and what they do for the local community and we are enormously proud to get involved.  

 

This contribution reflects our deep commitment to supporting causes that align with our values and make a positive impact on the communities we serve.

Who are Glamis Hall for All? 

Glamis Hall is a community centre on the Queensway Estate in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. 

It consists of a Day Centre for the over 50s, a large hall with a kitchen and servery, and community (meeting) rooms. 

 

Glamis Hall for All are a group of friends who came together in 2014 to save Glamis Hall and its services from closure.  

They became a registered charity (No. 1160317) in early 2015 to help us provide services at Glamis Hall for the community.

What do Glamis Hall for All offer?   Day Centre (VIP Club) The VIP Club is open Monday to Friday (9:30am - 3pm).  Join Glamis Hall for the day and enjoy a nutritious 3 course meal.  There are activities available throughout the day if you wish to participate, Glamis can provide transport to and from the centre or help you sign up to the Wellibus for free transport if you are eligible.  They offer assisted bathing for those who cannot bath or shower at home on their own as well as hairdressing, beauty and podiatry services.  VIP Club services can be discussed by calling our Care Manager on 01933 677326, option 1 to discuss availability.  Youth & Sports Clubs They run a dedicated youth club.  They also host lots of clubs and groups at our centre.   Room Hire By the hour.
