We are pleased to announce that Stuart Burn, managing director of specialist optical sector lender Performance Finance, has been appointed vice chair of leading industry body the FMO.
Stuart who is an extremely experienced businessman with a very strong financial background will be paramount in seeing FMO through the next phase of change.
“It is an incredible honour to be appointed vice chairman of the FMO and I hope to continue the sterling work that my predecessors have started. The FMO is currently facing challenges it has not seen in its 100 year history and I am sure it will draw on the strength of its membership and its very capable Board to meet those challenges head on”, says Burn, “I am looking forward to helping create an FMO that is efficient, forward thinking and fit for the next 100 years”.
Stuart takes on this position following FMO’s former vice chair, Krysten Williams, having to step down from the role in preparation for her upcoming move to Germany to become head of global marketing and education at Heidelberg.
